                                     MEASLES

     Measles - an acute infectious disease caused by a virus . The virus is extremely contagious and spreads through direct and indirect contacts. Measles is very important to protect the child from infection of any other disease , as it weakened immunity and process infected can be very fast . Complications of measles are pneumonia , which causes a greater number of measles -related deaths, and encephalitis ( inflammation and swelling of the brain) , which can lead to permanent brain damage and death.

     Undergone measles acquire a strong immunity , but immunity can be obtained by vaccination .

Symptoms

      Early symptoms of measles resemble the symptoms of regular flu - fever , muscle pain, cough , runny nose and eye sensitivity to light. 3 -4th day a red rash appears - first on the head and face, then , for the next 3 days it spreads throughout the body. After this heat subsides and the rash becomes brownish . In the field of concentration is observed peeling skin rash .

Traditional treatments

     Treatment is aimed at maintaining the body's defenses until the disease is under its own power . Prescribe bed rest and drinking plenty of fluids . Very important is the proper care of the skin and mucous membranes. The child's eyes should be washed 4-5 times a day with boiled water or 1 % solution of boric acid , but the face with wet impossible. Cotton swab smear Vaseline should clean the nasal passages . Should rinse your mouth with a weak solution of potassium permanganate , and clean the babies mouth swab dipped in a solution of boric acid.

• Pour 1 teaspoon fresh chopped dried roots IPT parsley 1 cup boiling water. Insist , wrapped, 6-8 hours , drain. Take 1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before eating.

• Pour 2 tablespoons raspberry fruit 1 cup boiling water . Insist , wrapped, 1 hour. Drunk as a tea several times a day .

• Pour 2 tablespoons lime flowers 2 cups hot water , boil for 10 minutes. Drink at night 1-2 cups . Is diaphoretic , sedative and analgesic .
